What we do
The costliest failure in an examination is paper that arrives late, at the wrong centre, or in a condition that raises doubt about whether it was tampered with. Most institutions learn this the hard way — once.
We move examination material from our press in New Delhi to every centre on your list, with the same discipline we apply to the printing: chain of custody logged at every handover, tamper-evident packaging on every consignment, and a named person answerable for each leg.
We only move material we have produced ourselves. Question papers we printed, booklets we supplied, OMR sheets we produced. This matters: the chain of custody starts inside our own press and runs unbroken to the centre, so there is never a point where material is collected from a source no one can vouch for — which is where most problems begin.
For the transport itself, we use a mix of our own vehicles and trusted transport partners, chosen by route, volume and timing. Whichever vehicle it is, the discipline remains ours — the packaging, the numbered seals, the dispatch record, the handover steps, and, when added, the GPS dashboard and escort. The security lies in the procedure, not in who owns the vehicle.
What's standard on every dispatch — vs. what's an add-on
Standard on every ParikshaXpert dispatch (included in the base rate):
- Tamper-evident packaging — sealed envelopes, numbered security tape
- Transport via our own fleet or a vetted transport partner, selected per route — the chain-of-custody protocol stays the same regardless
- Dispatch record — the log of every envelope, every centre and every handover, signed by named officers
- Signed handover at the centre — the receipt becomes part of the record
Optional add-ons (you opt in, priced separately):
- Real-time GPS tracking, with read-only dashboard access for your nominated officer
- Security escort, unarmed or armed (usually for question paper consignments)
GPS and escort are added for high-value or high-sensitivity consignments where your security policy calls for them. Most dispatches use just the standard set — which one you need depends on the material and the risk.
How it works
Packaging. Question papers and booklets leave our press in tamper-evident envelopes — one per centre, sealed with numbered security tape, with the centre code, candidate count and dispatch date printed on the outside. The seal cannot be opened without leaving visible evidence.
Loading. Envelopes are grouped by centre into one locked container per route. Each container carries a packing list and a numbered lock.
Dispatch record. Every container is logged out against a named driver, a named receiving officer, and a delivery time window. (If there is an escort, they are named too.) You receive this record as a standard report; it is not held as an internal-only document.
GPS tracking (optional). Where you want to follow the vehicle in real time, we add GPS. Your nominated officer receives read-only access to the dashboard and can verify position, speed and route directly. It is an add-on; most dispatches do not use it.
Security escort (optional). Most consignments travel without one — the packaging, the seals and the signed handover provide the security. For the highest-value consignments (usually question papers), we add an escort, with the number of personnel and whether they are armed set by you.
Handover at the centre. The container is opened only in the presence of your centre officer. The lock is verified intact, the packing list is checked, every envelope's seal is inspected, and the officer signs a receipt that becomes part of the record. That is where our responsibility ends — the material is now with you.
What we move
- Question paper consignments — sealed; security escort and GPS tracking added when the conducting body's security policy requires them
- Answer sheet bundles — printed booklets going out to the centres before the examination
- OMR sheet consignments — delivered under tamper-evident packaging
- Result material — printed scorecards going out from our facility to the conducting body, with the same chain-of-custody discipline
- Examination-day supplies — additional stationery, signage, or material as the conducting body requires
What sets the work apart
A record, not just a promise. The dispatch record, the GPS log (where used) and the handover signatures are provided to you as a standard report once delivery is complete — available to produce whenever it is required.
Real-time visibility. During the dispatch window, read-only access to the GPS dashboard lets you follow the vehicle in real time, rather than waiting for confirmation that it has arrived.
The procedure never leaves our hands. Whether the truck on a given route is ours or a vetted transport partner's, the seals, the record and the handover steps stay with our staff. The vehicle can change; the accountability does not.
Numbered seals on every envelope. Each envelope's tamper-evident seal carries a unique number that is logged at packing, logged at dispatch, logged at handover. If any seal is broken between those points, it is visible and it is traceable.
We hold to the delivery window. Most logistics failures begin when material runs late and a centre is forced to improvise. We commit to a time window in the contract and hold to it; for us, a late dispatch is a breach, not a circumstance.
Pricing
Dispatch pricing is per consignment and depends on:
- Destination (intra-city / intra-state / inter-state)
- Volume (number of envelopes / containers)
- Security escort profile (unescorted / unarmed / armed)
- Timeline (standard / compressed)
Most dispatches price on the standard pattern — the included set listed above — with GPS tracking and escort as the separately-priced add-ons. Destination and volume set the rest: a 50,000-booklet intra-state dispatch starts at one rate; the same volume inter-state prices higher. Send us the route map and the per-centre volumes and we will scope a specific figure, usually within a working day.
Trust signals
- ISO 9001:2015 certified facility and operations
- CMMI Level 3 process maturity
- DPIIT Startup India recognised
- UPDESCO + UPTRON empanelled vendor
- Secure transport of the material we produce to the institutions we supply — part of our own supply chain, not a standalone logistics contract
How to start
For institutional enquiries, we will need:
- Examination name and conducting body
- Number of examination centres and approximate geography
- Volume per centre (envelopes / booklets / OMR bundles)
- Examination date and the time window the material must arrive in
- Any add-ons your security policy needs: GPS real-time tracking, unarmed escort, armed escort (most consignments use none of these — the standard packaging and handover cover the majority of examination material)

FAQ
Q. Can you dispatch material we have printed elsewhere? No. ParikshaXpert dispatch is only for material we have produced — question papers, answer booklets, OMR sheets, scorecards. The chain-of-custody model depends on the material being under our control from the moment it was printed. We do not pick up third-party consignments. If you have a separate dispatch need for material from another vendor, a general logistics provider is the right fit — not us.
Q. Can we use our own logistics partner and only buy the chain-of-custody packaging from you? Technically yes, but we'd advise against it. The chain of custody works best when one team owns the whole procedure — the packaging, the record, the handover. We keep that with us whether the truck is ours or a vetted partner's. If you take only the packaging and run your own transport, a seam opens at the handover between our packer and your transporter — and that seam is where things tend to go wrong.
Q. What happens if a vehicle is delayed by traffic, breakdown, or weather? The dispatch is GPS-tracked in real time. The moment a delay is detected, the conducting body's nominated officer is notified by call, by SMS, and by dashboard alert simultaneously. A backup vehicle and route are pre-planned for every dispatch route over 100 km, so a single breakdown does not become a late delivery.
Q. Can the conducting body inspect the dispatch operation before contracting? Yes, with prior arrangement. We will arrange a walkthrough of the packing floor, the vehicle bay, the dispatch ledger system, and the GPS dashboard before any commercial conversation finalises. Most conducting bodies do this and we encourage it.
Q. Do most dispatches need a security escort? No. About 90% of our dispatches go in our trucks under the standard chain-of-custody discipline, and that is enough security for answer booklets, OMR sheets, scorecards and most examination material. Escorts are added only when the conducting body's policy requires it — most commonly for question paper consignments, the highest-value leg of the operation.
Q. Is GPS tracking on every dispatch? No, GPS is also an optional add-on. The standard chain-of-custody discipline does not depend on real-time tracking — it depends on the ledger, the seals, and the signed handover. GPS adds a live-visibility layer when the conducting body wants to watch the vehicle move in real time, which is most useful on long inter-state dispatches or high-value question paper consignments.
Q. What is the smallest dispatch you will take? Around 2,000 envelopes (one mid-sized examination, one or two centres). Below that the chain-of-custody overhead exceeds the value, and an insured courier is the more economical route.
Q. Are your dispatch records auditable by the conducting body's external audit team? Yes. The dispatch record, the GPS logs and the handover signatures are all exportable in standard formats, ready for your external audit team.
Q. Do you provide insurance on the consignment? Standard contracts include consignment insurance up to a pre-agreed value. Higher-value consignments (high-volume question paper dispatches in particular) are insured separately at the conducting body's preferred limit.
